MODELING OF THE THERMOCHEMICAL CONVERSION OF PLANT BIOMASS

Based on experimental studies of the thermochemical conversion of plant biomass in the form of wood waste, flax awn, straw, sunfl ower husks, and fallen leaves, a model was developed for calculating the yield and composition of decomposition products. A pilot plant for thermochemical conversion is described, and experimental data on the yield and composition of the products of thermal decomposition of plant biomass are obtained, a comparison of which with the results of calculations showed their good agreement.
