MODELING THE MOVEMENT OF A LIQUID IN CAPILLARIES AND NOZZLES OF PRINTERS

The author has obtained the isotherms of wedging pressure of β fi lms from the data on the velocities of fl ow in an inhomogeneous electric fi eld of fi lms of model liquids on the surface of quartz capillaries of diff erent radii. Increase in the fi eld gradients leads to a deviation of the fi lms from the equilibrium state toward a growth in their thickness.
