HEAT TRANSFER INTENSIFICATION DURING CONDENSATION ON A HORIZONTAL PIPE BY MEANS OF COMBINED HYDROPHOBIC COATING

Heat emission during water vapor condensation on a horizontal pipe with a structured hydrophobic coating and without it in the presence of noncondensable gases has been studied. A method has been developed for hydrophobizing a metal heat-exchange surface using a combination of microstructure and nanoparticles, which makes it possible to achieve a contact angle of 158 deg. The infl uence of noncondensable gases and temperature diff erence on the heat emission coeffi cient during water vapor condensation on a horizontal pipe without coating and with a coating consisting of carbon nanoparticles has been studied.
