This paper considers the thermodynamically substantiated derivation of the scalar and vector forms of the J-integral for the Biot elastic porous medium model representing a permeable deformable matrix saturated with a fl uid, which is described as a double continuum and whose behavior is determined by coupled equations of elasticity and fi ltration theory
