HIGH-TEMPERATURE INDIRECT COMPACTION OF POWDER MATERIALS WITH ACTIVE ACTION OF AN EXTERNAL FRICTION FORCE



On the basis of theoretical analysis of the rheodynamics of a powder material in the process of its indirect compaction with active action of an external friction force, the infl uence of this friction force on the density distribution of the material in the bulk of its sample was investigated. The advantages of the indicated compaction method over the one-side high-temperature compaction of powder materials, used most frequently in power metallurgy and in selfpropagating high-temperature synthesis technologies, were substantiated
