We suggest a complex procedure for investigating shrinkage
stresses in the process of drying colloidal capillary-porous bodies.
Different stages of structure formation in the process of heat and
mass transfer are studied. The physical mechanism of shrinkage
phenomena is considered. A model of the destruction of the drying
product is suggested that agrees with experiment.
