An experimental study was carried out to investigate
the flow pattern of a pulsed periodic gas jet
at Re
4000 and a modulation frequency of 200 Hz.
Application of conventional and nonconventional
optical methods of visualization of the flow field
allowed a conclusion about the formation of several
large-scale vortices by every pressure pulse.
