With the use of the assumption that the structure of an amorphous
polymer can be presented as a set of frozen locally ordered regions
surrounded by a loosely packed matrix, it is shown that a structure
comprising a percolation cluster is formed in epoxypolymers, and in
this case the glass-transition temperature is associated with
the critical percolation probability, and the glass transition
itself is considered as a phase transition.
