Based on the concept of splitting by physical processes
the authors synthesize an efficient computational algorithm
for the numerical modeling of a turbulent detached
incompressible viscous flow along a two-dimensional
curvilinear body near a mobile shield applied to
the problems of automobile-configuration aerodynamics.
