We present a mathematical model of the operation of pulsers
with flexible membranes that produce effects typical of hydraulic
shocks. Such devices are used as effective extractors, dispersers,
and emulsifiers. We show that the dynamic behavior depends on the
physical properties and the composition of the medium being
processed.
